Several years ago my Mum and I went on holiday with my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin. We got a great deal but had to drive down to Manchester for our flight. About a year ago I lost my job after twenty years of service. I had no idea that my company was in trouble, so it came as a complete shock to me. I really hate to be sick. I think guys have some sort of luxury in this area that we women just can’t take advantage of. A sick man will curl up in a ball and whine like a baby. It’s funny how things change as your life progresses. I remember being a young parent and we could get by with almost nothing. We could all stuff in one little car and didn’t spend a lot on food or rent. Now, we can’t even get out the door without a huge production. The smaller VW Polo is only for work and commuting and the whole family needs a minivan to go out together. It’s a bit different, but you get used to it slowly, so don’t even really notice that things have suddenly become much more complicated than they were in the past.
