Recently my web hosting company has been having problems that usually cause my web site to go down. Sometimes its just for a few hours but occasionally its a whole day or more. Since I run a web based business its very frustrating and costly to me when my web site is not up and running smoothly. So I downloaded some website monitoring software to track the status and performance of my website. It emails me whenever any problems occur and also tracks the response from the site. It helped me realize very quickly that my hosting company was doing a poor job so I changed to a new host and now my revenues have increased.
